Hairy, Hairy God-Mother , it's picture day at school today, and my hair isn't slayed. High winds, and pouring rain, have ruined my beautiful mane. Hairy God-Mother , please bring my hair back to be a lovely sight, and make my pictures turn out just right. I don't know what I'll do, if you don't come to my rescue.

Majestic Maya and the Hairy God-Mother

When I got the book I was so amazed how colorful it is. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. It is such a good book for little girls. They will know that their hair is beautiful. I purchased two (2) for two of my nieces. When my brother-in-law saw it at his daughter's house for his granddaughter, he read it and decided to purchase one for his great niece in North Carolina. He mailed it to her two weeks ago and she loves it.

This book was well written by Assata Green. I can't wait for the next book.
